About Me

My name is Stephen Harrington, and I am an Illinois based visualization specialist. Born and raised in Tinley Park, I spent my early years delving deep into classic sci-fi and fantasy films and novels. Considering I couldn't go fight monsters like the heroes of my childhood entertainment, perhaps the seed was instead planted deep in the back of my mind to pursue a career in the creative industry instead.

Since graduating from Columbia College Chicago in 2016, I worked just over a year at RM Design Studio in Bartlett, Illinois doing photo-realistic interior and exterior architectural renders. After my time there, I became a freelance 3D artist working on everything from product visualization, exhibit design, industrial rendering, and architecture. Afterwards I began working with the award winning architectural firm Solomon Cordwell Buenz where I created photo-realistic and illustrative architectural renders of commercial, residential, and university interiors and exteriors. Additionally, I was tasked with editing marketing photography, supporting the studios within the firm with guidance pertaining to visualization, and helped develop future workflows involving Unreal Engine 5 and Twinmotion.
